Dignity Foundation’s Powai Chai Masti Centre has taken up an innovative initiative by starting a Book Bank Project. As many as 140 books have been received from members. Dr. Shankar Kankaria, Shri. Bhikalal Chandarana, Shri. Prabhakar Pevekar and Shri. B.T. Shah, D.K. Roy and Smt. Reeta Malhotra donated the books. The books were donated to Chandrabhan Sharma College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Powai Vihar; Vikas College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Vikhroli (E); Asmita College of Arts, Commerce & Science for Women, Vikhroli (E) on February 11, 2019. Earlier books were donated to Powai English High School, Powai as well. Books were handed over to Ms. Pratima Singh, Principal, Chandrabhan Sharma College; Prof. Shaji Mathew, Vice Principal, Vikas College; Dr. Manisha P.Nair, Principal, Asmita College, and Smt. Sherly Uday Kumar respectively.
They complimented the Powai Chai Masti Centre and appreciated its latest initiative. Shri. V.N.Gopalakrishnan, Co-ordinator, Chai Masti Centre accompanied by Shri. B.T.Shah, one of the donors visited these institutions. The donors were felicitated at a special function on February 15, 2019.

The various Centres of Dignity Foundation are known in Mumbai as Chai Masti Centres and in other cities they are known in different names such as Coffee Chavdadi in Bengaluru, Tehneer Arangam in Chennai, Chayyer Adda in Kolkatta etc.
