About the owner
Mr Ashok Jain is probably the first person to have advertised with Powai.info back in 2008. He not only advertised, but also recommended a few of his friends like the owner of Laxmi restaurant. Mr. Jain used to run a big shop Called Krishna Arts which had some unique antique furniture and home decor items. The shop was located Powai plaza in 2008. In those days, Powai plaza wasn’t well maintained and the footfalls were very low. Mr. Jain decided to shift to galleria after a couple of years. Galleria places were at a premium, and he had to to drop his furniture and home decor line which required a bigger space. He shifted to a smaller counter at one of the galleria shops. This was the birth of Maya Bazaar.
