A critical crack has developed on the Powai Rambaug Flyover. As far as I know, MMRDA builds the the highways and maintains it while BMC maintains the internal roads.

Olive D’souza who lives right across the flyover has been following with MMRDA and BMC to take notice of the this critical crack. She sent a complaint to MMRDA on 28th March via its portal. She got a generic reply on 6th April that she needs to contact the appropriate authority. It seems digital India is tokenism for MMRDA. If MMRDA was concerned, they would connect this complaint to the relevant authority. Does the common man have so much time to trace the relevant authority?

Olive Dsouza went further ahead and contacted BMC official Mr Ahire, who maintains that the bridge has not been handed over to BMC.

Upadted on 29th April

Olive Dsouza received the below letter from MSRDC indicating that the vehicle underpass bridge as been handed over to BMC and BMC should make the neccessary enquiry.
