Whether you’re taking your first steps as a DJ or are a professional looking to further hone your skills, this intensive course is designed to provide long-lasting results in a short time. I live in Hiranandani Gardens. I would really appreciate if we could all join in and do something about the auto rickshaws outside R City Mall.

Here’s what happened :

On 19/07/2010 my husband and I tried to get an auto at 9pm. We were carrying a lot of shopping bags. There were plenty of auto rickshaws parked at the entrance of the mall. When we asked them to drop us to Hiranandani galleria. They simply refused. We asked every auto rickshaw but no one was willing. My husband was worried because i am heavily pregnant. We had to stand there in the rain for an hour. I’ve never felt so helpless, so angry and frustrated in my entire life! It was such a horrible experience! Finally by some miracle we hailed a passing auto in the main road and went home. This is not the first incident, whenever we go to RCT mall at night, we face this problem along with other civilians. This happens in a regular basis. The auto rickshaw drivers there are very picky about their customers. They will drop someone to Juhu but refuse to drop anyone who lives nearby unless you pay them 30 rupees extra . I have written down a few auto rickshaw numbers. We were a bit frightened when they started yelling at us. I hope these come in handy.

What really annoys me is if these people refuse to take passengers, what are they doing outside the mall? You should chase them away. We the civilians of Mumbai have been paying their recent fare hike rates, what else do they want??!!

I would really appreciate if something can be done about this matter.

I had received complaints about Subway Powai, in the past. I also experienced it today. I walked in and asked for the Sub of the day, “which is not displayed anywhere”. The guy tells me, he is out of mustard sauce and jalepenos. I say okay! I have a look at the lettuce box and its full of cabbage. When I make a hue and cry about this, he promptly tells me to speak to the owner. Hiten needed a broadband connection at Lake Homes, and we asked out friends to help him out in selecting the a broadband service provider in Powai. I’m very happy with Airtel for past two years and used to have nightmares with YOU telecom. Check out some of the answers if you are not satisfied with your current broadband connection. From the discussion it certainly looks like what works for one, doesn’t work for someone else. Unless you have a relative working in MTNL I don’t recommend it for sure. But other interesting choices are Trikona, Hathaway, MTS, Reliance, Sify, Rajesh Cablenet and Nivyah Broadband.

mtnl sucks..horrible service….dnt even think of taking it…till the time ur net is working its good…if it goes bad..for watever reason…then count weeks till they come and fix it..and be prepared for a bribe too…or else they wnt turn up the next time…:)

Just go to Relaince world in Hiranandani and get the new broadband + Excellent speed and you can take it along with you also. BTW, am uising MTNL for 3+ years and Reliance for 1+ yr – both without problem

I would like to share a terrible experience I had with the PRIMO FURNITURE SHOP at Prathmesh Galaxy, where I bought a new sofa set from. The place is quite expensive (at par with all new retail outlets setting up shop here) so we negotiated quite hard and settled for a price of 52,000 rupees, including 3 side wood planks for the sofa handles. With a promise of delivery within 8 days, i.e. April 22, 2010, we were quite satisfied with the deal.

The delivery didn’t happen, and on April 25th we left town on our annual vacation. On returning on the May 5, we inquired at the store, where we were told that our sofa was ready and we could visit the store to check it. On our visit we were shown the sofa set but to our surprise we were told by the salesman that the side planks we not ordered and we would have to pay extra for the same.

Now here is the math: The rack rate for the sofa set is Rs. 57,000, add 5,400 for the 3 planks @ 1800 a piece that totals to 62,400 and the store guy now claims that all he gave us is a 8% discount on the basic sofa set.

I would like to request you to publish my experience on your website so that others either avoid the store or are more careful while dealing with them.
