We often talk and complain about things wrong in our community and society. We have corrupt politicians, irresponsible admisminsitration and materilaism which consumes us without any respite.

www.powai.info is an attempt to building a community which is compassionate, and endeavors to raise awareness mainly among the youth of  this community. We partner and work tirelessly with other concerned individuals to raise awareness, by participating in community events, or rallying a particular issue. We want powai to be a model community for the rest of Mumbai, we want to create events & workshops, so that children grow up with a deep sense of artistic sensibility.

We do this by actively engaging people through social media website like Facebook, twiiter, Orkut. We hold offline events, where people get an opportunity to talk and meet like minded individuals. We plan to hold cultural events, fun & fair festivals, drawing or dance competition.
